Get To Know Our Technicians

In the veterinary world, a technician is the equivalent of a registered nurse and a dental hygienist.  Our skilled technicians perform laboratory testing, take xrays, place catheters, anesthetize and monitor patients, perform dental cleanings, educate clients, and, most importantly, give expert nursing care with lots of love and kisses.  Besides loving animals, our technicians have many varied hobbies & interests.  Michelle Cornelison joined our practice in 2006- she enjoys attending NASCAR races, spending time with her 2 year old daughter Ruth, baking, reading, and traveling.  Johniesha Smalls came to us with extensive technical experience in 2008- she is very active in Roller Derby and competes nationally.    In 2009 we added a head technician, Megan Deering, who has 19 years experience in the veterinary field- she enjoys working with the horses on the farm where she lives with her 6 year old son Brett.  All of our technicians are committed to providing expert and loving patient care
