Get To Know Our Veterinary Assistants

In addition to assisting doctors and technicians with performing medical procedures, veterinary assistants are the primary caretakers of your pets while they stay here.  With tender loving care, our assistants clean, feed, and bathe animals boarding or hospitalized with us.  Since they often spend the most time with your pets while here, they really get to know our patients.  Susan Jackson, who has been with us since 2002, has gotten to know the majority of our “regular” patients very well- she enjoys boating and gardening in her spare time.  Christine Murcott externed here in high school and returned to us in 2009 after graduating college- she enjoys kayaking and fire spinning.  Katie Owen and Mary Kate McKenna both joined us in 2010.  Katie is very artistic, drawing pencil portraits, oil painting, and dancing.  Mary Kate enjoys interior decorating and cooking.
