Dr. Danielle Zimmer
Dr. Danielle Zimmer grew up in Watertown, NY and received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University. She then attended veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts and graduated in 2020 with her clinical year spent at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Zimmer worked in Rochester, NY with a large, multi-location veterinary group practicing both general medicine as well as emergency medicine.
Dr. Zimmer and her husband, also a Watertown native, decided to move to Connecticut for her husband’s medical residency program in 2021 and Danielle joined our practice that summer. Dr. Zimmer owns 2 dogs; Callie, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and O’Malley, a rescue from St. Kitts. Professionally, Dr. Zimmer enjoys soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She also enjoys hiking, running, reading and traveling- especially travelling to Europe and the Adirondacks!
